The Greek Mythological creature, The Sphynx. Do not be thrown off by the proportions of her lion's body; they are correct. It just looks funny to the eye with the woman's top attached. Some may recognize the style copied from James Christiansen's version of the Sphynx from his book Voyage of the Basset. Good book. Read it, if you have not. Amazing pictures. |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
